In his latest online blogfor the Telegraph Pete Wedderburn has spoken out against cloned animals. Entitles, 'Read our lips: consumers don't want to eat cloned animals' he writes that "Animals are sentient beings, not just clusters of cells without consciousness or sensation... The only motive for producing cloned animals is to create more profit; animal welfare should not be compromised in this way for pure commercial gain."
