Lantra has launched a review of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Animal Care and Welfare, in order to ensure they meet the requirements of the industry. Animal care includes a range of businesses and careers such as dog groomers, zoos, rehoming centres and veterinary practices. The standards outline the knowledge and skills required in order to carry out animal care roles competently. Lantra is calling for all those working in animal care to contribute their views as part of the project, which will run until the end of October.
