RSPCA launches rabbit diet awareness campaign
The RSPCA has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of the correct way to feed rabbits, after a recent poll revealed that only 8% of rabbit owners are aware that hay and grass are the most important parts of a rabbit's diet.
Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK but misconceptions about how to keep them are common, with the mistaken idea that pellets and carrots are the most important foodstuffs being prevalent amongst rabbit-owners.
The RSPCA's new campaign, however, aims to tackle the serious welfare problem - their new Hay Fever! campaign encourages owners to feed their rabbits mainly on hay and grass.

Two independent vets have launched a podcast to help owners strengthen their bond with pets. Dr Maggie Roberts and Dr Vanessa Howie, who have worked in both veterinary practice and major charities, are keen to use their experience to enable people to give pets a better life.
