New ABCD website launched
Updated guidelines on feline infectious diseases

The European Advisory Board on Cat Diseases (ABCD) has announced the launch of their new website. Drawing on the expertise of an international panel of scientists and clinicians chaired by Professor Marian Horzinek, the new website provides factsheets and guidelines on feline infectious diseases.

The factsheets provide a two-page summary of each disease which may prove valuable for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses who wish to explain a disease to owners and discuss available courses of action for treatment or prevention. The guidelines provide in-depth information on treatment, vaccination and advice on 'control in specific situations' in several languages.

The information on the website is available for download via PDF and short clips of interviews of eminent researchers are also available. Users are also invited to subscribe to the newsletter and send in questions for the ABCD panel.

The new website can be found here.
