Lantra calls for feedback on Level 2 apprenticeship for Nursing Assistants in a Veterinary Setting.
Lantra is asking the veterinary profession to complete an online survey regarding Level 2 apprenticeships for Nursing Assistants.
The survey is a fact-finding mission to gauge levels of demand for a Level 2 Intermediate/Foundation Apprenticeship for Nursing Assistants in a Veterinary Setting.
The data gathered will be used by Lantra for the development of qualifications and frameworks for the industry.
Without feedback from the profession, future veterinary apprenticeships may not become funded and veterinary nursing assistants could miss out on formal qualification.
Lisa Jarvis, representing Lantra at this weekend's BVNA Congress, expressed her delight at the support received from attending delegates but she stressed the importance of feedback from veterinary practices.
She said: "I cannot stress the importance of the opinion of practices. The interest shown at Congress has been fantastic, but without practice feedback, progress will be minimal."
