Tiger Dies at Norfolk’s Zoo
According to reports, it is thought the tiger drowned after being found near a natural pool in her enclosure, although the reasons for drowning are as yet unknown.
Malyshka, the five-year-old Siberian tiger, was very important to the European breeding programme and had already given birth to two cubs. Sadly, she was also pregnant when she died.
Veterinary examinations are due to be carried out to find out more about the cause of death and determine if the tiger experienced some kind of seizure.

Two independent vets have launched a podcast to help owners strengthen their bond with pets. Dr Maggie Roberts and Dr Vanessa Howie, who have worked in both veterinary practice and major charities, are keen to use their experience to enable people to give pets a better life.
