Asha’s
If you like Indian dishes why not visit Asha’s? Claiming to blend the contemporary and traditional and the unique and authentic with a spacious yet intimate feel Asha’s restaurant has received some fantastic reviews in the past. It has also supposedly been frequented by the likes of Simon Cowell and the cast of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.

Big Wok
A Chinese buffet, Teppanyaki and Sushi bar, Big Wok declares itself as being big on value. It offers a lunchtime buffet of over 60 dishes for only £5.99 and a Grand Buffet of over 80 dishes for £9.99.

China Court Restaurant
One of the largest Chinese restaurants in Birmingham, China Court Restaurant (also known as Poco China Court Restaurant) has a very authentic feel. The menu features over 100 dishes, including an extensive array of vegetarian options, and the seafood and dim-sum dishes come highly recommended.

The Mailbox and its surrounding area is a particularly well-known waterside location with a considerable number of highly recommended restaurants.
Both of these Cantonese restaurants come with good recommendations: Ching Yung is well known in Birmingham and was established in 1981 and Ching Ying Garden was established six years later on the success of the first restaurant. Ching Ying Garden is the much larger of the two, with a capacity of over 380 people and a menu featuring over 450 dishes.
