That'll do pig!

A Kune Kune pig has been taught to perform many of the same agility tasks and tricks as his owner’s border collie.

The boar, named Sue after the Johnny Cash song ‘A Boy Named Sue’, will walk through tunnels and around cones, “shake hands” by offering his trotter, and perform a figure of eight.

Wendy Scudamore, of Barton Hill Animal Centre in Hereford, said that Sue began copying her dog in agility training. She told ITN news: “Everybody is always amazed, but personally I’m not because I have kept pigs for years and I know they really want to learn.”

Voting opens for BEVA Council

Milk recalled over presence of veterinary medicines

Graham's Family Dairy has issued a recall for its semi-skimmed milk due to the presence of veterinary medicines in the product.

In a risk statement, the Food Standards Agency said the presence of the medicines, including penicillin, make the milk unsafe to consume and 'may be a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to antibiotics'.

Customers who bought the product are advised to return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
