The recall affects the 400mg/ml containers of batch 20K091 with the expiry date of October 2022.
Recall affects batch of Revozyn RTU 400 mg/ml Suspension for Injection for Cattle.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has issued a product defect alert for a single batch of Revozyn RTU 400 mg/ml Suspension for Injection for Cattle.

The recall affects the 400mg/ml containers of batch 20K091 with the expiry date of October 2022.

The VMD writes: ‘We wish to make wholesalers and veterinary surgeons aware that Eurovet Animal Health BV has initiated a Class II recall of Revozyn RTU 400 mg/ml Suspension for Injection for Cattle.

‘This recall is due to confirmed out of specification particle size distribution (the percentage of particles greater than 50 µm exceeds the specification) and out of specification redispersion time.’

The manufacturer, Eurovet Animal Health BV, is contacting wholesale dealers and veterinary surgeons to examine inventory immediately and quarantine products subject to this recall.
