VN Voice Poll to share findings with PAW Report
“The poll is open to all BVNA members and is an opportunity to share experience and expertise."
BVNA members urged to offer insights on animal welfare

The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) has joined forces with the PDSA to include the voice of veterinary nurses in the 2018 PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) Report.

BVNA members are being urged to complete a 10-minute survey through the association’s VN Voice Poll, to offer their insights into key animal welfare issues.

The PAW Report is the largest survey of its kind and helps to identify, assess, monitor and improve the wellbeing of companion animals.

BVNA president Wendy Nevins said: “This year the PDSA and the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) have been central to developing the questions on pet obesity and the use of pet pre-purchase information for companion animal vets, with the view to include the findings in the 2018 PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) report.

“The poll is open to all BVNA members and is an opportunity to share experience and expertise. The statistics enable BVNA to communicate the views and experiences of members and gain a vital public platform for animal health and welfare issues.”

The BVNA has also made it easier for members to take part in the regular VN Voice Poll. Members can now simply log in to the member’s area, go to the VN Voice section, click the link and complete the survey.
