New member journal to launch at LVS!
MRCVSonline set to introduce latest member benefit

The team behind MRCVSonline will be heading to London Vet Show this week to launch our latest member benefit - new journal, Veterinary Practice Today.

Currently bringing our members all the latest news, jobs and events, MRCVSonline is expanding to provide a new printed journal for the whole veterinary team, including a range of topical issues.

All members of MRCVSonline are entitled to a free subscription, which can be claimed at our official London Vet Show launch!

To celebrate the launch, we will also be giving away free branded slip leads and pens to all journal subscribers - perfect for use in practice.

Visit us on stand A10 to flick through our very first issue, and remember to bring your colleagues along, as all new subscribers to MRCVSonline, or our sister website VNonline, will also receive a free subscription.

Our latest quarterly journal has been designed with the whole veterinary team in mind, providing a wealth of "how to" articles on small animal, equine, large animal, exotic animal and wildlife, as well as practice management.

Within the 60-page journal we also include CPD articles, which can contribute towards our readers' annual CPD requirements.

Members of our team will also be wandering around the event wearing Veterinary Practice Today branded scrubs, so feel free to catch up with us and let us know which topics you would most like to read about.

This year's London Vet Show is set to take place on November 21 and 22 at London's Grand Hall Olympia.

If you're not attending London Vet Show, you can still subscribe to Veterinary Practice Today. Simply log in to your MRCVSonline account here http://mrcvs.co.uk/en/vpt-login.php and update your contact details.

Vets launch new podcast for pet owners

News Story 1
Two independent vets have launched a podcast to help owners strengthen their bond with pets. Dr Maggie Roberts and Dr Vanessa Howie, who have worked in both veterinary practice and major charities, are keen to use their experience to enable people to give pets a better life.

The venture, called Vets Talking Pets, provides advice and information on a range of topics, including how to select a suitable pet, where to obtain them and how to get the best out of your vet. Maggie and Vanessa will also discuss sensitive subjects, including end-of-life care, raw food diets and the cost of veterinary care.

The podcast can be found on all the usual podcast sites, including Podbean, Apple, Amazon Music and YouTube.
