Excellent response for MRCVSonline topic suggestions

MRCVSonline would like to thank all of our members for the feedback they have been sending us over the past couple of weeks.

Andrew Millar, from Ardene House Veterinary Practice in Aberdeen, has been selected as the winner of the £50 John Lewis Vouchers.

At the beginning of August, we asked you to start sending over the topics that most interest you – the ones that you would like to see more of on MRCVSonline.

We've had an absolutely fantastic response, and your suggestions were more informative and widely-scoped than we could ever
have hoped.

All of your suggested topics have been taken on board, so be sure to look out for more information from MRCVSonline in future about the topic you personally suggested.

And don't forget to keep the suggestions coming! We want our articles to be as relevant and informative as possible to those that matter – you, our readers.

We are always just an email away if you'd like to continue letting us know those topics that are most important to you.

News Story 1
The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is inviting applications from veterinary students to attend a one-week extramural studies (EMS) placement in July 2026.

Students in their clinical years of study have until 28 February to apply for the placement, which takes place at the VMD's offices in Addlestone, Surrey, from 6-10 July 2026.

Through a mixture of lectures and workshops, the placement will explore how veterinary medicines are authorised, non-clinical career opportunities, and other important aspects of the VMD's work.
