New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon - Torquay, Devon


Quarry House Vets, a locally-owned small animal/exotics practice, is looking for a graduate veterinary surgeon to join its team.

This RCVS-accredited practice is a certified Cat Friendly Clinic, provides veterinary nurse training and is recognised by RWAF for its knowledge of rabbit welfare. It has clinics in Torquay, Newton Abbot and Teignmouth.

The successful candidate will see an interesting and diverse caseload, including some exotic patients. You will be carrying out consultations and working up cases, as well as performing general surgery and basic imaging. Consultations take place across our three clinics, with surgeries at the Torquay surgery.

There will also be some visits to our animal charity partner, Animals in Distress.

Career development is encouraged in this role, and you will be supported with one-to-one mentoring and a Vet GPD.

  • Four-day and five-day weeks, plus some shared Saturdays and bank holidays, up until 7pm only as we have an external OOH provider between 7pm and 8am
