We are looking for a senior veterinary surgeon to join us at Blackwater Valley Veterinary Centres.
We are a well-equipped surgery with a full in-house Idexx lab, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring equipment, digital X-rays, and dental X-rays.
The role involves consulting and operating in a friendly and supportive environment. We are dedicated to working to a high standard and providing our clients with the best care. The rota allows one regular day off a week for working one in three weekend rotas (Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am-1pm) with no out of hours.
We have a long-standing team of two full-time and five part-time vets, and seven fully qualified nurses. We also have three trainee nurses, and an animal nursing assistant. You can be certain any new team members will be made welcome and given support as they settle into their role.
The ideal candidate will be confident with surgical procedures, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice.
Salary is up to £60k-£75k depending on experience.
