An independent small animal and exotic training practice in Denny, Central Scotland, is seeking an RVN to expand its team of eight highly skilled nurses. This is a maternity cover position, with the potential for permanent employment. We will consider both full-time and part-time applications.
Apex Vets puts the team first, with CPD encouraged and funded and regular clinical team and practice meetings. Staff enjoy health insurance, four per cent pension contributions, funded RCVS and society membership, all across a four-day working week, with a quiet one in eight on call.
The practice has recently expanded and invested in new equipment, including a large dog ward, two surgical theatres, DR x-ray, and piped gas, to name a few. All nurses carry out regular clinics in airy consult rooms. They also lead anaesthetic inductions and maintenance; dental scale and polish; and radiography, with the backup of the practice’s eight vets. Our nurses are encouraged to use their skills to their full potential.
