FIVP to attend BSAVA Congress and Expo
FIVP will be at Stand C25 of BSAVA Congress and Expo from 20-22 March 2025.
The Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices (FIVP) will be attending the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) Congress and Expo on 20-22 March 2025.
The not-for-profit organisation, which supports independent veterinary practices, will be at Stand (C25) throughout the event.
Representatives from FIVP will be meeting with new and existing members to share how it has been representing their interests and promoting their values across the country. It will also be an opportunity for delegates to learn more about the current events which are affecting independent practices.
Those who own, manage or work at an independent practice are invited to learn more about how the organisation helps independent practices to develop their business. It is committed to cementing a future for independent businesses, as well as creating a community where practices can network and develop together.
Membership to FIVP is available to independent veterinary practices across the UK.
In the past year, FIVP has remained closely involved with the ongoing Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation into the veterinary sector. This has seen chairperson Rita Dingwall and business development manager Ian Wolstenholme attend regular meetings with the inquiry group to ensure that FIVP members are represented in key discussions and debates.
Last year also saw the launch of FIVP’s podcast, FIVP: Practice Matters. In the bi-weekly podcast, Mr Wolstenholme hosts experts from across the veterinary industry to share insights into veterinary practice, business and leadership.
Ms Dingwall said: “The FIVP team is counting down the days to BSAVA Congress and Expo 2025! The programme is filled with exciting events and fascinating discussions, and we can’t wait to get involved.
“Don’t forget to make time to stop by for a chat – we are looking forward to catching up with our amazing community!”
