New Cx Congress details announced
Dr Khan will deliver the keynote speech at Cx Congress 2020.

Dr Amir Khan revealed as keynote speaker

Veterinary training and consultancy business Onswitch has released further details of its upcoming Cx Congress, which takes place in Nottingham in June.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr Amir Khan, an NHS GP most recognisable from the television series ‘GPs: Behind closed doors.’ Dr Khan is also a regular on daytime television, featuring on BBC Breakfast, This Morning and Lorraine.

Based in general practice in Bradford, Dr Khan is passionate about optimising the delivery of community medicine services and engaging patients with the care pathways. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at Leeds and Bradford University and, between his media appearances, finds time for training new GP colleagues.

"I jumped at the chance to speak at the 2020 Cx Congress, as having spoken with Sophie and Alison of Onswitch, it was clear that they share my passion for making health care delivery seamless and mutually beneficial for both practice and client,” said Dr Khan.

“Effective and empathic communication should always be at the heart of the customer experience, taking into account individual needs and histories - what we're doing in human medicine is equally relevant to the veterinary sector, and there is much we can learn from each other.

“I’m excited to meet Cx Congress delegates and share stories and experiences about the challenges and rewards of caring for clients with understandably high expectations."

Cx Congress takes place at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June. More details and booking information can be found at www.onswitch.co.uk/cx-congress-2020
