Night Veterinary Nurse, Kent

Meopham Veterinary Hospital is a busy, independent practice with two other branch surgeries based in Kent. Overall, we have a team of 11 vets, 20 nurses, two auxiliary nurses, five receptionists and a dedicated management and administration team.

Our practice has excellent facilities such as a CT scanner, digital radiography, orthopaedic equipment, endoscopy, laparoscopy, hydrotherapy and grooming. We offer our own out-of-hours care, with 24-hour nursing, and are lucky to see a wide variety of cases. Many of our vets and nurses are studying for various certificates.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate night RVN to work full time at our main hospital, alongside our auxiliary nurse and on-call vet. You will be in a sole-charge position, caring for our inpatients, and will be working with the on-call vet to treat out-of-hours emergencies.

In return, we offer a close-knit team, a friendly environment and the opportunity to be supported in developing your skills, working to a gold standard with a range of excellent equipment. There would also be the opportunity to gain funding towards the City and Guilds Cert VNECC course after successful completion of the probationary period.

If you are interested in the role, please send your CV with cover letter to Head Nurse Katie Piper at
